“I can not say enough good things about our wedding cake from Cakes by Grace. Caitlin, the head baker is talented! Being that I am gluten free, I am used to having limited cake options, not at Cakes by Grace, it felt like she could make anything safe for me to enjoy. At our wedding several people who are not gluten free grabbed a piece of the gluten free cake, and had no clue (it is that good!) We enjoyed Caitlin and her delicious treats so much that we stop by the shop every visit to Tahoe to say hi and get something sweet for our trip.”

“I had high hopes for their pastries. Their croissants were good, but it didn't wow me. I tried a couple of their other pastries and they were alright. The size of the pastries were a little on the small side for the price they were charging. I didn't get a chance to try their lunch items. Maybe those are delicious? And the young lady at the cash register wasn't the most inviting (2/18/22 7am). Since you have to order your food at the register, this would be the first encounter with an employee. You would think this would be your most inviting, friendly employee. I got a very snobbish vibe from her. With that said, the employee who actually gathered my pastries and handed them to me was very friendly and smiling a lot. The rest of the ambiance and decor was great!”

“Great staff, Although no greeting on arrival. Yusuf, Geriele and Celeste were wonderful and attentive. But was great tasting but notes it cost more than my son’s build your own sandwich which was thicker and 3x the meat (see above) and which was surprising. Very clean and lots of eye candy in the way of scones, and deserts displays . My Blueberry cream scone was wonderful and light with a touch of sweetness. Looking forward to return. Bathrooms are very clean with warm water and they do have easy access for handicapped individuals. Jesus cares say your prayers Amen”

“A few months back we had seen this shop while passing by but the farmers market out front was going on and it looked busy, so we didn't stop. Today, we we're back out that way, and we decided to stop in. Walking in, we were hit with an aroma of fresh bread and were quickly greeted. They asked if it was our first time in, we said yes, and we got a small tour of how the shop works, and plenty of samples. We bought a sourdough cheddar loaf, a buttermilk loaf, and a pumpkin loaf. We have vowed off store bought bread and are now loyal customers based off the quality of the bread and the customer service. I would highly recommend stopping by, if not but just for the experience. They also have a reward program for frequent shoppers.”
