“Came in twice on a weekend visit from Vegas, first for coffee and pie, then the following day for breakfast. While the cherry pie was satisfactory, the breakfasts were totally bomb 😋. I liked how all the booths had power outlets. At the breakfast we had a party of 11 on a Sunday morning, and though crowded, they were able to seat us pretty quickly. Our motley breakfast party consisted of friends both local and from the western part of the state. Everybody loved the food, and splitting the check was not problematic. The service was very welcoming, attentive, yet not obtrusive. Highlights included house-made chicken-fried steak and eggs, house ground round steak and eggs, and house-made corned beef hash and eggs. Everything was IMHO under-priced for the value😃👍. This will def be my go to spot for breakfast upon future visits to town.”

“The food was amazing!!! Not something you expect in such a small town. If you are in the area you need to check this place out. We got the Bacos, waffle tamale, Fresh Raviolis and White pizza it was all so good, I just wish there was more raviolis. 😊”

“I dunno why this place isn't more packed..they are open later than most places in Midtown and it's the best authentic Thai food I've had since Guam. I'd definitely come back, and for everything I ordered plus a chang was only$30.”

“There is a little designer coffee stand literally around the corner from my granddaughters house that we drive right by on Saturday mornings in our way to her work. We can go to Stars Place, and even doing the drive through, take less than ten minutes and we're on the road again! And always ALWAYS super friendly and top service. The upstarts just can't hold a candle to Stars.”

“Just a quick review of the long awaited opening of Tahoe Natural Cafe in South Reno. As a resident of Damonte Ranch, it's been grueling watching the buildout, patiently waiting for the opening day. Finally it came! I popped in for a quick takeout for lunch and was greeted warmly as I gazed at the large menu. Very open and inviting first impression. I decided on the Tahoe Turkey, I'm a sucker for a green chile and avocado. Put them both on a sandwich and I couldn't say no. Within only a few minutes, the order was brought out to me and I left. Once home, I opened up the box right away and was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of toppings. I was a bit apprehensive about the volume of shredded carrots as I'm generally not a fan but they paired perfectly with everything else on the sandwich. I was also pleasantly surprised that the toasted bread held up. It's a short ride home but you do expect a bit of degradation in the box. Not with this sandwich though, it was as if I was eating it there. Looking forward to my next visit, thinking of trying out breakfast next. Nice job!”

There's a lot of different donuts red velvet, old fashioned, 3 different flavors of donuts holes (just to name a few) you can choose from they even have breakfast croissants. As soon as we got in the car we started eating them lol. So good.”

“Best Angus Hamburger & Fries, cheap with a spectacular lakeside view. Fully stocked roadside market with affordable ice, beer, sodas and snacks, we were thrilled to discover the delicious homemade menu. A wonderful alternative to long waits at McDonald’s in Hawthorn, our family ate well for under $20. Owners are hands-on. The “service with a smile & friendly chat” reminds of why small towns USA are so very charming. Best Burger & BBQ in Walker, Hawthorn. Intimate, no fuss, outdoor cafe style seating and prompt carry out. Worth the stop.”

“This is a nice little place. They have quite a varied menu for a mini-mall cafe. We tried their hibiscus tea with mango, and it was very good. The shrimp tostada appetizer is nothing short of amazing. You must try it! We had their club sandwich, and it was good, very big and made with fresh ingredients. For dessert we tried the butter pecan ice cream, but it was grainy. Even after I whipped it around for a bit, it was still grainy. It tasted okay. It just wasn't smooth and creamy like you would expect from ice cream. Good atmosphere with nice decorations. Great friendly service. Fun spot!”

“We were shopping at South Premium Outlets and I noticed this place. Looks like it just newly opened, we had to check it out. When you walk in, the interior is cozy and unique as opposed to other bubble tea shops. My daughter liked the strawberry yogurt smoothie very much. The pink strawberry smoothie looked appealing, the taste was a combination of yogurt and strawberry fruit, with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. Overall I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.”

“Been here about 3 times in the last week, got fresh juices every time I see some reviews say the place is closed. I could be wrong but it seems it recently opened. Maybe the location showed up before they opened, I'm not sure but 2 things to keep on mind: 1: there are shops on both sides of this building. GPS might take you to the other side. If it's does just keep driving around the building to the other side. It's right next to the sports clips 2: every time I've been there they have been open. Service has been fast and friendly staff”

“This Starbucks is a two-fer. Its baristas brew up great coffee concoctions. But it's also a great museum that pays homage to UNLV student life. The store is across the street from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas campus. Two walls of the store have current and historical photos of university life, mounted museum style. My favorite is an Impressionist-like still life of two students studying outside. They are sitting back-to-back on a bench. She's on her laptop and he's reading a textbook. Their backpacks sit beside them. The photo looks down on them from above. It perfectly captures student life at a US university. There are photos of campus architecture and blooming gardens. (Those wildly colorful displays are clearly from spring because they won't last in August!) I love the one of the messy stacks of the library. Quintessential college. There's a patio but it juts into the parking lot. The patio also faces busy Maryland Parkway, so you can watch the the cars whiz by. There's a crosswalk to campus, making this a favorite hang out of the college crew. Since it's in a shopping center, there's plenty of parking. If you want a cup of coffee AND a taste of college life, this is your place.”

“Passionate informative employees making great recommendations to my order, delivering amazing results. My friendly conversation with one of the employees taking my order, was very hospitable when I had trouble trying to find a menu and was not sure what was on it. Rating them three stars, because the fact they don’t have a posted menu anywhere in the establishment or if they do, not easy to fine. This restaurant requires you to use a smart phone, assuming the customer should not only own this device, but set the customer experience as a requirement for an mobile device to access their menu. This is very unfair and completely takes away from the neighborhood restaurant experience. As I was there, I witnessed five out of seven people staring at their phone while in line, completely unaware of the beautiful pastry display case on the right. I couldn’t help feel how depressing this was. Personally, I’m trying to get away from using my phone and putting it on silent. The fact that I am forced to use this device defeats the entire purpose of me distancing myself From Mobile phone dependency. Took away my experience at this restaurant completely. I really enjoyed my time here, normally I would just ignore this, but I’m tired of being forced to use my phone everywhere. Although this is my personal choice, I much rather shop at a local establishment with a fun menu and a cheerful staff. What’s the point of living life if you’re just going to live it on a device?”

“This place is very clean, staff friendly and meal came out fast. They do have a wide selection too, with cucumber water that is free. Overall a solid place I would recommend. The quality and quantity for what you pay for may not be ideal which is the only reason why this place gets 4 stars.”
