New ownership, recently remodeled, tried the Chicken Philly cheese steak with a side of clam chowder, and RI clam cakes for an Appetizer, it was delicious. A little short on parking so get there early. Definitely recommend.

Every time I visit the new Dockside I have a great experience. The establishment is open, airy and full of light. It always is clean. AND...it always is busy! We are always greeted with happy employees. To arrive mid week in February to a packed place is pretty awesome. I love that the seafood is coming in FRESH from Gloucester and Rhode Island multiple times a week. The French Onion soup is the best in the area. The short ribs are one of my favorites! It is great to have something new and provide something different to this area. I like trying new things on the menu, that I would not normally get around here!

First the 2 people I was with said their meals were great. One got the baked haddock the other a sandwich. The server I had was kinda slow. We sat down pretty quickly(before 5). But didn't see the waiter for almost 10 min. I had the steak tips they were tasteless had to add salt, the shrimp was dry as hell. Like I said everyone else's meal very good.

We live in the bay and waited a while before trying it. First there's no parking which is going to be a real problem. We had a server who seemed nice enough no offense but she didn't listen well. Ordered steak tips with stuffed shrimp and got just steak tips. The food was barely luke warm. Fresh veggies would have been good if they were hot, nothing worse than cold veggies. Yuck. Steak tips were barely cooked I asked for medium well. Rice pilaf was cool. Husband had sword fish which he said was good but the rice pilaf cold and veggies too. Water glass ran out and never refilled. When she finally came back she brought an iced tea which I didn't order. Stuffed shrimp came finally and was a rubber mess with Luke warm stuffing. Chew chew chew. The GM came over and asked if we wanted to buy raffle tickets, no thank you. We're trying to have dinner not get solicited. There's chairs piled on top on each other in the dining room, very sloppy. We expected more. Shibley's restaurant has nothing to worry about. Not even in the same parking lot. Actually they have again no parking. And don't plan on taking beach parking. It's actually dangerous the way folks are parking on the road. Not impressed.

Great first time experience the other night. The staff all worked together providing excellent service. Felt well taken care of. The head chef even came out for a minute, greeted us and other customers which was a nice touch. I had the fried clam/scallop combo. It was excellent. Nice atmosphere, great food and service. Will be back soon!
