“Great, local ice cream with a nice view too! I saw that this food truck had opened and wanted to try their ice cream and food. The chicken melt is really great and all their food seemed to be getting compliments from other customers. Do note that the food is only available Wednesday through Sunday, but the ice cream is available all week. Their ice cream is a nice big portion for the price and it’s made locally which is an added bonus! Good variety of flavors too. They also have a nice sitting area and tent if it’s rainy out. If you’re in town and looking for lunch or dessert, I would definitely recommend this place to you.”

“After hiking to the Belknap firetower we stopped in to the Gilford Village Store for lunch. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and portion size. The veggies on the cali sandwich were perfectly fresh. Everything in the dessert case looked amazing! The jelly donut cheesecake was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. We will have to find other hikes to do in the area just to have an excuse to stop in again!”

“Born and raised in Newport New Hampshire but we are visiting from Nashville Tennessee. We haven’t been here since 16 years ago. This place has a wonderful vibe! I love the modern/farmhouse look. The food was excellent! I ate the sausage breakfast sandwich and it was really good. Service is wonderful, and always with a smile. It’s not your typical mom and pop breakfast club, but for sure will not be disappointed.”

Took home a ‘Moroccan Spiced Chicken on French bread’ sandwich and was blown away at the flavor combination and uniqueness of it. Great view of the lake without the crowd! “Food was delicious and exceeded expectations for pub fare. My party of three had nachos and three pasta dishes. We all raved about our dinner choices and shared with each other. Everything was flavorful and well cooked. We had two servers, one experienced and one in training. They both were friendly and professional. The woman doing the training was doing an excellent job of explaining to the trainee why she did or asked something. The space is casual, warm and welcoming. It felt like a place I could hang out for awhile. There was a guitarist playing live and the volume was appropriate for the space.”

“This was our first time and we can’t wait to go back! Our food was so yummy (side note: the gluten free pancakes are made on a designated griddle and are fluffy and delicious!!). My bacon was crispy and coffee was hot! The bathroom was super clean and the staff was friendly! My only complaint was so that it was SO cold in the building. But! I just drank more coffee to warm me up. :) I’m excited to try lunch next time…”

“A nice-looking place right on the lake, but a bit hit-or-miss overall. Cocktails were mostly ice and tasted pretty sad as a result (also, what bar can't properly garnish an Old Fashioned when it's on their drink menu???). The ghost pepper margarita should be renamed the sorta-jalapeno margarita, if the promise and product were to match up. The coconut shrimp were good, but could have used just a bit more sweet chili sauce. I couldn't figure out what was going on with the street corn dip. It was missing a lot of things besides the corn - would advise against ordering it. I wanted a lobster roll which was apparently sold out (we did come in late), so got the mushroom ravioli instead. My wife had the beet salad. Both were decent, but not something that will really stick out in my mind going forward. Service was excellent.”

“First time coming here with my grandfather, and we both loved it! The restaurant is very clean and very beautiful and the food is absolutely delicious! It came out like 5 minutes after ordered and it was cooked perfectly and was hot. We also had guacamole that was made right in front of us and we were able to chose how we wanted it and what we wanted in it (Would totally recommend trying it!)The service was amazing as well, very kind and helpful. We would most definitely come back here!”

“Gusto is PHENOMENAL. The Lakes region isn't the easiest place to find memorable food, but this place takes the cake. They have 3 cases filled with some of the freshest and most delicious pastries I've ever had. Nutella croissant, lemon cream croissant, hazelnut braid, ricotta nutella tart, fruit tarts, dark chocolate PB croissant, tiramisu, cannolis, sfogliatelle... we bought a LOT. It was all 10/10. We came back the same day and got 3 paninis, the Toscano, Milano, and Roma - all WOW. They truly couldn't improve on anything. So well seasoned. Bread like a cloud. I can't wait to try everything on the menu, and am so grateful for a perfect lakeside spot to grab a truly sensational meal.”

“Good little breakfest place. Had a large variety of waffles and some different breakfest sandwiches. The added pickled jalapeños and spinach were a great touch to the sandwich. The latte I got was decent but not really anything to write home about. This location has a lot of craft pottery, coffee and t shirts, so this place is great for some nice touristy gifts too.”
