    Always a lovely experience! I was hesitant to post how great this place is because I love how personal and private the restaurant is. I must share because the owners are just such amazing people ???? PS: see if you can find the Crystal Quail in the dining room!

    Lovely country setting. Stepping through the door feels like stepping back into Colonial days in this cozy farm house from 1764. Beautiful exposed, rough hewn wood beams throughout. Small dining room with 4 tables seating a maximum of 12 guests. Your hosts Harold and Cynthia are very friendly and warm and it is a sincere pleasure to speak with them and hear their stories. The dishes are all flavorful and well prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The Veal sausage was to die for; full flavor with a texture that was unmistakably home made. The Pheasant with wild mushrooms was also a wonderful mix of flavors and sensations. Feels like you are dining at a friend's home (a friend with great culinary talents). Will defintely return again.
    Note: No menu, only a daily "verbal" menu of 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and 2 desserts. No A/C. BYOB and no bar/drinks whatsoever. Prix Fixe - $80. Cash only, no credit cards. Very small wooden sign at the entrance and it is an unpaved driveway.

    Don't miss the Crystal Quail. It may be the best meal you'll ever eat. Beyond great!!

    Truly unique dining experience. Chrystal Quail is a one of a kind must go restaurant.
