They hired new help! A young man was patient, & took the time 2 listen without question. He took his time, making my order exactly the way I wanted it.

I'm VERY poor, because of 4 permanent invisible disabilities, & one permanent physical disability.

I'm not on disability because they care more about paperwork, & protocol, than people.

I order the veggie delight, the way I do, because I divide the ingredients, & make many things 2 eat with them, over a week's time.

I do this, because it's cheaper 4 me, than buying onions, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, pickles, black olives, tomatoes, mustard, bread, cheese, all separately, at a grocery store.

I add the Parmesan cheese, 2 spaghetti sauce, 4 a vegetarian.

I make English muffin pizzas, with the mozzarella cheese, (4 the vegetarian) that I freeze 2 use later. I use 99 cent markdown muffins & make some sauce, with tomatoes & oregano.

I use the spinach, onions, brown mustard & dressing, 2 make potato salad (I add diced potatoes).

I use the mayo, oregano, green peppers, & black olives, 2 make pasta salad (I add cooked pasta).

I use the lettuce, mayo, pickles, & bun, 2 make mini vegan sandwiches.

I use the cucumbers, mayo, &, tomatoes 2 make a vegetarian summer salad (I add radishes).

I use some lettuce, green peppers, & cucumbers, 2 make a tiny vegan garden salad. (I add carrots, radishes ($1.56 a bag at Walmart), & homemade croutons from markdown bread & Balsamic dressing I got for free, at a expired food store that closed.

I refuse 2 go 2 food pantries, that want all IDing info, so that I don't have any privacy.

Both soup kitchens, were unwelcoming, so I won't go 2 them either,

Other places with unwanted food, give it 2 animals, instead of people, & refuse 2 mark it down, so it's affordable 2 the poor.

2 LADIES were working at the other 1. They understood exactly what 2 do, about putting things on the side. I appreciated it very much. Thanks Tricia!

Both places, need 2 realize, that some "normal" looking people (adults), may have invisible disabilities, like processing & memory disorders, Asperger's, Autism, OCD, etc., that may cause them 2 appear "slow", unresponsive, (while processing, or trying 2 remember, with sequencing, being an issue) or 2 particular, in how they want things.

    It's a Catch 22, weather u'll have a decent experience, depending on who's working on the day/time u go.

Subway seems 2 have a high staff turnover, which is not good, 4 maintaining a similar experience, every time u go.

    They need more VEGAN options!

6% of Americans (93,000 people) r vegan (no animal products at all), as well as some who are vegetarian (no meat), others who have lactose intolerance, or dairy allergies (no cheese or dairy based dressings, or mayo) so, Subway needs 2 get more inclusive, about diet differences.

The only thing vegans can have, EVERY TIME they go, is the same "salad on a bun". There is no other option, other than salad without a bun.

A poor vegetarian I know, comes 2 eat what I make with cheese, dressing & mayo. They r as poor as I because they have disabilities 2, no $s, no ID & no car either.

One of the cleaner, well kept Subways in the area, the sandwich artist used proper food handling procedures and there was no cross contamination... The knife he used to finish and cut the footlong came out of a bin and was scraped on the edge of the prep counter prior to use, BIG MISTAKE ! That really disgusted me. Other than that, the visit was fine.
