Cactus Jack's Grill & Watering Hole

Very fast and friendly service. Food was very good. Recommend the fish tacos. Family friendly.

Cactus Jack's was a good experience. We sat at the bar both times were there. The happy hour specials were a great value and tasty. I had the tacos and my wife I think had some quesadilla. There is a decent tap selection. All backed up with a friendly staff. This restaurant might be a five but until I have a full meal I'm holding back a little bit.

I've heard good things about this place from patrons who "know the owners" and they seemed like reasonable people to listen to, which I no longer think.

It's sort of like a Mexican restaurant with some American food.

Our server was lovely but the food was impressively unimpressive. Three out off the four of us had meals that we wished we didn't and we all chose pretty low-risk things. Myself and the two others have very different needs in the food department and my comments seem a fair representation of all opinions.

That said, one of us got haddock and was quite happy.

The best part, for me, is how quickly the food moved through my digestive process. While I do appreciate this, it's not exactly a quality you look for when choosing a restaurant.

Three stars is mostly because I don't want to cause a problem for them but I do want to be sure there's a fairly accurate representation.

The food here is pretty decent with a solid variety of choices. The sandwiches are reasonably priced as our many of the lunch meals. larger parties might have a short wait time but generally we walk right in with groups of up to eight people. Most of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There is a really relaxed feel too the restaurant but it's not super noisy obnoxious like other places can get. We always enjoy going there and I like that I have choices that are gluten free since I am celiac. I left off the five-star rating because parking can sometimes be an issue, although on really busy weekends they do valet parking and take your vehicle across the street and bring it back for you when you're done eating.

Great staff. Good food. Good drinks. Enjoyed watching the Bruins while eating Mexican and drinking craft beers. Good, broad menu with American/Mexican dishes. Various sizes of apps and plates. Friendly staff that never let you wait to long for your next drink. Probably going to be a regular game night place for us.
