Overall average. The beer was okay; while nothing seemed particularly “off” about it, it didn’t seem particularly unique or flavorful. The beer lineup is very typical of New England craft breweries - IPA, Stout, and Porter, and nothing really different or inspired from any other small regional brewery. The IPA was bland, the Milk Stout was thin, and the Porter tasted like a Black IPA. I wish their beer was more flavorful and that their lineup was more creative, instead of having the same beers as every other craft brewery in this region.
Food was also just about average, without much to comment here.
Atmosphere was good, I especially enjoyed the beer hall concept featuring long rows of benches.
Spotted the place a couple weeks ago, and made hour+ trip from the seacoast back to check it out - well worth it!
The beer was incredible, and the rustic-yet-new barn venue is fantastic. My wife got a flight/paddle of four beers, which were all great, and I got the IPA with hint of peach flavor, which turned out to be both our favorite!
The deck should be complete soon, so we'll be heading back to enjoy that.
Spent a couple hours there and had a great time with my better-half. I'll admit that I'm not a huge micro-beer drinker, but I could easily find beers that I liked. The food was solid, exactly what you'd expect for a place like this - and the environment was cool and inviting. We will return - can't wait for the outdoor deck!
Great Atmosphere and very tasty brews. They had adequate staffing for self ordering/delivery of food and drinks. I didn't try the food yet, but it looked good from afar, and the menu had lots of variety.
My only negative is the type of bar chairs they chose. Very narrow and not very deep. I am not a large person and had trouble getting comfortable and not sliding off. And for what it's worth, they totally don't "fit in" with a barn decor.
Excellent Brewery! The beer is amazing with even better food to pair it with. Has a rustic barn feel to it. Service was excellent and the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable on beer and the history of the barn. I’m new to the area but will definitely be back!
