Barley & Salt Tap House and Kitchen

We really enjoyed the food here. We both got the steaks with mashed and green beans. Cooked just right. Our waiter was very good and attentive. ( dragon? That’s what he said his name was) my mom got a cocktail that she really enjoyed.
It’s very open and bright, so not very cozy. Music was way too loud for dinner. A little girl in the table next to us was holding her ears and screamed at one point. Haha. That speaks volumes.
Overall I’d say it was worth it. Maybe next time I’d ask them to turn the music down a notch. It would be fine if it was 9 pm ,but it was early. My elderly mom did not like that at all.

Barley and Salt in North Conway is a great place to get a really good meal and a drink. I enjoyed my food here and it really and it was exactly what I was looking for. I really like the laid back and cool feel of this place as there is a lot of fun to be had here. The service was great and very friendly and they hustled to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Overall this was an awesome place and I enjoyed the experience.

The food was good and the service was great. We did wait a long time for food. Started with wings...great rub but slightly overcooked and pretty dry. Then I had a burger, cooked as I asked. Love the greens as a side instead of fries! We were surprised that it took 40+ minutes for a 3 person lunch order to come out.... but our waitress was great. We will be back...

Friendly service. Decent beer selection. Food was enjoyable. Only thing is that they advertise as a small plate restaurant. I just don't think the menu reflects that. Over all a good place to go.

Go here for food. My wife, sister-in-law, and myself were in the area after a day of hiking and found this place and I'm happy we did. The food was excellent. My wife commented multiple times on our trip that her wings were the best wings she ever had. That's a big deal at our house. So, go and enjoy an excellent meal.
