Friendly's

I grew up with Friendly's and it always was a favorite ... Except when it wasn't. Friendly's has struggled with ownership, pricing, store closings, but seems to be bouncing back. Stopped for breakfast. It was excellent. The veggie omelet. My companion opted for the breakfast melt sandwich. Both were very good, and very reasonably priced. The omelet came with potatoes and toast. Both very good. The sandwich also came with breakfast potatoes. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, ideal for families, particularly with small children. If you haven't been in awhile, give Friendly's another chance. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was!

The waiter we had went over and above his duty to make us happy. The only down side was my friend ordered ice cream in a dish. When it came it had melted quite a bit.

I usually don't mind going here but when I was there this past weekend, I'd ordered a salad but it totally tasted like a chemical had been sprayed on it. I wasn't able to eat it. ???? More...

I will say though that a couple weeks later my friend who I was with there again mentioned it to the manager and they did honor me with another salad at no charge. ????
But I was "scolded" for not mentioning it to someone when it happened, making me feel like I had been at fault. ????

Food was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better meal in terms of quality, pricing and portion. On top we mentioned food sensitivity, waitress was very careful in checking safe menu for us. Customer service is very friendly and polite. Definitely deserves 5 stars!
