Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club

I went to the Eagle Mountain House with my parents and my brother during the Labour Day weekend and I completely fell in love with this place. The room was so cozy and the hotel has such a rich vintage style. We played golf for 3 days; the 9 holes course is in the middle of nature. Although the water stations were empty and the teeing grounds are not in perfect shape, the incredible staff and the beautiful trails between the holes made us forget about the inconvenience. If you don’t play golf, you can enjoy the outside pool, discover your ping pong skills at the game room or go hiking in the mountain that surrounds the site. The food is amazing, the price is very honest, the service is a bit slow but the salmon, the cabot burger and the warm turkey sandwich are worth the wait. Make sure to order a drink and sit on the porch; the view is breathtaking. I want to add that I’m a 24 years old girl from Montreal and I have this dream that one day, I will own a B&B or a hotel. If this day comes, I want it to be exactly like the Eagle Mountain House. Or maybe I will start saving until I can afford to buy this place myself!!! :)

Stayed here for 4 days while exploring the white mountains. Very clean place with a spacious bedroom and living room. Food at their restaurant is affordable and very tasty. The view is amazing. Services are great. There is also a play room with pool table and arcade games. Very comfortable place for a group of friends or family to enjoy a quiet staycation from the cities. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

We loved the antique look and feel of this hotel. The service was amazing from the staff and very professional. The view was amazing from the front and the pictures in google are nothing compared to what it looks like in real life especially in the early morning around 6. The pool is very nice too. The elevator is one those from the 1920s where you have to close the door yourself which in my opinion was awsome.

Such a friendly staff! My fiancé and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement. The staff comped a bottle of champagne, upgraded our room to the top floor with a view and were super friendly.

The restaurant had wonderful food that met expectations along with the pricing. The hotel has a wonderfully charming original elevator with the metal cage doors. The basement has arcade games, pool, ping pong and more for your amusement.

You can't beat staying here!

I did not stay at this place , I attended a wedding here. It was quaint with has a lot of history. If if the lobby they have some pictures of the place when it first opened (I enjoy that sort of thing). The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was good, too.
