Brought a friend to lunch who just arrived from the Netherlands ; he had the Lobster BLT which was received and consumed with much fervor... my wife and I split a fisherman's platter which was very good ( the scallops were top-notch..., the fried clams were very good , but have had better...). 5-stars for not only the food, but the excellent service and outdoor dining on an incredible NH summer day...I will definitely order the Lobster BLT next trip down!

Great food, good portions, friendly service, fair prices.
Doesn't get much better than that!!

I advise to not go during peak hours. They don’t accept reservations, and the wait can be long. I liked their crab crakes, and their lobster roll (loaded with lobster).

This was not what I expected, but in a good way. Solo traveller, looking for food and drink. For a town that rolls u the streets early, even during tourist season, this place advertised open til 10pm.

I expected something a little more "fancy" and to be out of place in my athletic atiare. Instead I found the New England version of a mid-Atlantic crab shack from my youth. Picnic tables with brown paper. And a mix of heavy plastic plates and plastic to go cups.

Bar full and many tables full at 9pm, so obviously folks know this is where to go for later fare.

I sat at the bar and ordered a couple apps. The service was friendly and prompt. The menu was small but focused and certainly would work for seafood lovers or meat lovers. Sorry vegetarians you get a green salad.

The only negative I have is that the crab cake had too much bread and not enough crab. But at least the bread filling they wrapped the crab around, before breading that, was tasty.

Oh, and I left around 930 as one the few remaining guests while the staff was actively doing their final cleanup. A full 30m before closing time. But hey, the place was nearly empty.

Love this restaurant and bar tucked away by the docks on the inlet. Food is fantastic, but service and creative bar drinks truly outstanding! Owner so friendly and gracious, and the view of the water is lovely. Annual summer tradition for my husband and me.
