“I eat food here regularly; at least once a week I pick up my favourite Spicy Noodle dish. Everybody I know either loves the food and friendly service or hasn’t had the chance to stop by yet. The service is always exceptional, the food is always impeccable, and the prices aren’t outrageous in the slightest. I’ve heard people say that this was the best thai food they’ve eaten, and I’m compelled to hold them to that statement. I can’t imagine cuisine tastier and more genuine than what you would receive at this establishment. Everything tastes fresh and the ingredients are high quality. Certainly one of the North Country’s gems, and they’ve only been open for less than three years. Even the beverages are made with love and skill. Just wait until the sushi returns...”

“I had high hopes for this place! I love BBQ. But it was mostly pulled pork on the menu. Everything very greasy and smothered. No option of just bbq chicken mostly pork. When we got there the hostess had no idea what was going on and definitely needed more training. We finally got to our table and ordered. The waitress was nice and good at her job. They were out of almost everything so we had slim choices of what to order. Food was okay but they basically pushed us out the door bc they ran out of food. But I don’t see why Bc we already had our food? Mixed drinks were 9$ which I thought was outrageous. I live in an expensive city and they’re a dollar less than that. Oh and they ran out of all alcohol. I’ll give them another shot when I come through. Hopefully they get it together”

“Just a heads up, the gps took us a little past the storefront, but we figured it out. It's in the building, before the empty field! Silly gps in a downpour. Very nice place. Courteous staff. Amazing food, especially the corn salsa and chips to scoop out from the burrito. As a vegan, it's hard to find good healthy food, but no trouble here. This place is MUCH BETTER than any chipotle I've ever been to. And to top it off they actually didn't run out of guac (like chipotle). If your looking for delicious filling healthy quick food, you found the spot. We will be back. Thank you.”

Only negative would be the waitstaff and bartender had masks but most of the time the masks were under their chin and not being worn properly. “We have been to the Bretton Arms many times. While it remains one of our favorite destinations in New England, we have noticed that inconsequential cosmetic features, such as floors, trim, the entry, and bathroom cabinetry, could use a little sprucing up. On the other hand, the condition of the property lends New England authenticity and charm, which is not found in standard hotels. The hotel's beautiful location and remarkably solicitous staff more than make up for any modest imperfections. We will continue our visits with relish.”

“This is a great little joint to get a quick bite. We got poutine and fried dough. Crazy combination of food, but he wanted one thing and I wanted the other. Gravy was super thick and rich, seasoned to perfection. Fries were crisp with soft potato middle and gooey cheese curds on top. “Green Acres is a little extra piece of heaven in an already heavenly place. I absolutely love Pittsburg, riding the trails with friends and family but my favorite part is going to Green Acres! You can feel the love when you walk through the door. Their breakfast sandwiches on their homemade bread is to die for! “Very casual, easygoing atmosphere with plenty of TVs, very good pub food and a decent selection of beers. In two days we had an opportunity to try the poutine, grilled chicken salad, chili crock and a rodeo steak tip wrap. All were good, service was consistent and the place is popular for a reason. It's a remote area so there are few games in town and they could probably cut a few corners or back off without too much damage but they are doing it right. Will definitely return next time I get this far north in NH.”

“My husband and I made the 2-hour drive all the way to Pittsburg, excited to sample the burg’s unique cuisine that we had read so much about. The selections we ordered did not disappoint! Their famed blueberry pizza, drizzled with real maple syrup, was scrumptious, and we loved the smoked brisket sandwich with hand cut fries! Our waitress and the rest of the staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful, eager to explain the various items on the menu. While enjoying our dinner, we noticed a couple nearby who were eating food from a Chinese take-out box. We asked our waitress what it was and she told us about the ‘burg’s special fried rice, a favorite menu item that is highly popular. So we ordered a box for each of us to take home and enjoy later. It was delicious! After dinner, we met the owners - two young brothers - who were very friendly and welcoming. One brother packed a small carton of salad for us to take home and try. It was a special gourmet salad he had just concocted, prepared with fresh, local garden produce and locally made cheese. We loved it! When I expressed my enthusiasm for the restaurant’s charming vintage decor, I was given a tour of the upstairs - a big, beautiful room decorated with vintage signs and colorful retro furnishings! Our experience at the ‘burg was exceptional in every way - we can’t wait to return!”
