“I went there with a half rotten Deer carcus I found on the side of the road and they cooked it right up and served it to me and my nephews and step sister with a side of a tub of barbeque sauce! After we ate, they massaged my piggys and then we left for the plane ride back to South Carolina. Great experience 1000% would recommend! 5 stars.”

“The Sweet Spot is a real find. Everything is made from scratch, with ingredients you know the names of! The breakfast sandwiches come on a fresh made biscuit, and the sandwiches on home-made bread. The desserts are to die for. The lemon bars are super lemony, the eclairs are unbelievably rich and creamy, and even the donuts taste light and fresh. The bakery used to be known for its pies, and owner/baker Jackie has been improving on them. I’ve only had time to try to one, and I picked my favorite strawberry rhubarb. Both the crust and the filling were great. Jackie says the key lime pie is her best, so I have to try that next. The place itself is bright and cozy. It’s a nice spot to sit and enjoy some coffee and conversation. Chat with the new owners, Jackie and Jim. They are anxious to please. (They are not the grumpy owners mentioned in reviews from last year.) They take into account what their customers say and, as an example, have started baking some gluten free products because customers requested them. Long-time local residents, Jackie is an experienced baker who decided to open her own shop. She uses only fresh ingredients, and she knows what she’s doing with them! Jim is an old hand at breakfast treats and sandwiches. He’s introduced his grandmother’s pork pie (“Big Ma’s” pie). That’s a take-away item and I haven’t tried it yet, but other customers were raving about it. I highly recommend trying this place.”

“It is obvious that the owner, Eric, is not only a great businessman but he also loves the game of paintball. His staff were both professional and helpful. There were over six paintball courses and every one of them was both unique and fun. Often, when you play at a paintball field the referees will waste a lot of time in between games. Not here. The players had control of the time and were able to take longer breaks or make the breaks in between games fast. We played a lot of games in the 3-4 hours we were there. As someone who has been playing paintball for over 15 years, I have played on a lot of fields. This was by far the best field I have ever seen or experienced. If you are in the area and want to paintball, this is the place to go!”

“Our food was good. The sub presentation was a bit different as the sub was presented open and flat but the contents were tasty. Good fries. The pork belly burnt ends were new to me, essentially cubes of bacon, but they were tasty if quite salty. The ambiance is a bit lacking but if that isn't a big deal for you then you will likely enjoy your visit.”

“I went for a beer and some shops and was pleasantly surprised. I had chicken nachos, home made onion rings, and truffle parmesan fries. I've had bad versions of truffle fries, but these were really very good; fresh, not frozen fries. The service was a little relaxed but they were pretty busy, so it was fine. The chairs could be more comfortable, but I get it, restaurants want to turn tables and keep durable chairs. Overall, very good and I would definitely recommend it.”
