Sea Dog Brewing Company

With any brew pub, beer is expected and the food should be simple but done well. Sea Dog Exeter has a great beer selection, but after eating here 4 or 5 times now, the food and menu are less than exciting. I will continue to patron out of convenience, but would not recommend for anyone to go out of their way.

What a terrific place in the heart of Downtown Exeter! Awesome! The steak n cheese was fantastic! Melts in your mouth! Fried pickles yummy, salad great! Awesome 2 level place with river views in back and 2 decks! Everything was delicious, service impeccable, and very reasonably priced! A must on your list!

In town for a bike race and found Sea Dog based off of their Google reviews. They did not disappoint! All the staff were very attentive and friendly despite it being busy and late at night (8:30). They even let my silly, desperate friend charge his phone at the host station (big thank you!). The calamari, mushroom burger and haddock tacos were all excellent. Highly recommend the watermelon lemonade sangria special drink if they have it. Definitely will come back next year & can't wait!

I had an unfortunate experience here within the past week that needed to be addressed by a Manager. I reached out via email to the GM and explained the disappointing situation as well as any concerns I had for any future visits I'd have here. I only asked for some reassurance as to the situation not becoming a habit for any other times that other customers or myself go there.

The GM got back to me with a timely professional response the next morning and thanked me for the notification and input. Not only that, but he went above and beyond to instill the confidence that his staff and he would continue to make changes and a positive impact for all of their customers. Keep up the great food, drinks, and customer service!

I had Fried Clams for the first time here tonight awesome. Great sized dinner portion for only $21, and $15 appetizer. Along with that the service and management staff go out of their way to to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend, if you've never been here for a drink or food. You'll see what I mean. Enjoy!
