The Goat Restaurant and Whiskey Bar

Stopped in for a beer or 3 while walking through Hampton and was pleasantly surprised by the Goat.
Friendly and casual atmosphere with more locals than tourists.
Bar service was a little slow at first but then I realized that they were changing shifts. Once the new bartender got settled in, service was great.
The Goat felt like a "hole-in-the-wall" hidden gem for those who enjoy the feel of a real pub.
I didn't eat anything but the burgers and apps coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled tempting.

**2019 update**
Visited the Goat several times during this year's vacation and was blown away!! The burgers are amazing and the pulled pork Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had!
Savannah was our waitress and she was excellent!! Very friendly and pleasant while providing great service!
I didn't catch the names of our other servers but they were all wonderful.
The atmosphere was fun - live music and happy customers combined with personalities of the staff make The Goat a "must" visit!!
We pinned our dollar on the wall, among thousands of others, and we plan on updating that dollar with every yearly visit.

Kicked back and relaxed atmosphere. Food was brought out super quick. Not an amazing burger but a good burger. Fun options to choose from and generous portions for a good price. One of the better places right on the strip

Found this on Yelp while looking for somewhere to eat after visiting the beach. It's a short walk from the main strip. A hidden gem. Glad we found this place. Bacon bucket and maple syrup dipping sauce was good, but it's hard to go wrong with bacon. Thanks to VT and NH I'm in love with real maple syrup. The fries were delicious. My only disappointment was the brand on my bun didn't show up very well.

Burgers are 2 for 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Food is always good. Never been during summer season and found it much busier and took a while longer than usual for burgers to come out. They have two outdoor patios to eat/have a drink on.

Great variety of burgers. Fries and tater tots were perfect. Fried pickles and buffalo wings were delicious. Somehow this place has always been on our list to visit but has been elusive getting here. Glad we did. We’ll be back each summer that we stay at Hampton.
