Johnsons Seafood & Steak

Johnson's is awesome! You can tell all their food is really fresh. I love the haddock nuggets. Their ice creams are HUGE and good quality. This place is popular and usually busy but they have lots of parking and seating.

The food was amazing! Our steamers were the best weve had and the lobster roll was HEAVENLY. Service was great and the Wednesday beer flight deal was a perfect way to sample some of the selections from the brewery next door while enjoying our meal.

Decent selection of seafood, limited menu, a bit pricey, but the ice cream is very reasonable and tasty. Considering the location, I was expecting the higher price tags when we went 2 years ago. After the recent renovation to the building, the tasting room and craft beers are a great addition. Prices are still a bit on the high side, and the menu remains very limited, but still basically a good experience. Some of the wait staff lacks the ability to smile and be nice, like ours last night, but most of the staff has been friendly and nice.

Long, unmoving ice cream lines, made us leave with out ice cream, after ten minutes in line.

It was 79 with no sir flow inside, where we are dinner.

The "fresh"homemade bread they brought to the table was dry.

The waitress was efficient, and personable.

I can only speak for the ice cream because that's all I really come to Johnson's for. The portions are, how do I put it. Colossal. Imagine buying a gallon of ice cream to share with the family and you get a nice bowl the size of half a coconut, and you just fill it up with scoops the size of softballs. That's a kitty size at this stand. So good. I love it. My favorite flavours are the mint chocolate chip and cookie dough. The black raspberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt was disappointing though, it tasted like it had freezer burn.
