Demeters Steakhouse

Had an amazing meal here during restaurant week. The mussels were delicious with a bright flavor, the filet was melt in your mouth tender with an amazing sauce. Dessert was top notch. 10/10 would recommend. I'll definitely be back!

Honestly we were excited to go to Demeters! I’m very fair at my ratings, but yes I am picky. The good. Our waitress was very nice, but a bit forgetful, it wasn’t a busy night at all. She seemed distracted but she’s a person and we all have nights like that! (We still tipped at 30%, we know it’s hard work) The atmosphere is warm. The Bad. Scallops wrapped in burnt bacon 3 for 17.00. Husbands New York strip, blah. I did have the halibut which was cooked perfectly, it was a very small portion for 32.00 but good! Desserts? The sorbet on the side that came with the cheesecake was the best part. Would we go back? Probably not. All in all, an underwhelming experience. We don’t mind paying for a great meal but it just seemed lackluster...

Demeters is my absolute favorite restaurant for a fine steak. Yes, it is at the top of the price spectrum for the Seacoast, but you get what you pay for. Unless you are a very wealthy individual you probably aren't going to be eating here every week, but for those special occasions this is the place. Excellent steaks, fine drinks, and i love the ambiance and decor!!!

This was the first time we were at this restaurant, it is very elegant, clean, has a romantic look to it. The service was excellentl Sarah and Rachel were great working together they were both attentive polite, friendly, you different options for dinner recommended options for dinner appetizers etc.. we love it and will be going back. Highly recommended

Demeters is a decent place. The ambience was nice, although service left something to be desired. Food was fine.
