“I’d like to start off by saying the staff is the friendliest staff I’ve seen in New Hampshire as a whole so, I loved that! The Price point, I feel like it’s a little high for the meal not including a drink. I got 3 meals today and a drink for just under $50, I could eat at roadhouse for that. But, the food was great! The chicken was very flavorful and juicy, the pickles were amazing. The sauce was sweet, but good. I wish the bread was a garlic bread but over all I will say it was worth it. This place is great and we look forward to visiting again.”

“Cute little ice-cream spot in downtown Portsmouth. I got fried dough with ice-cream and I really enjoyed it. They had a pretty good variety of flavors to choose from. Lots of local places around had been closed due to staffing and I hope places like this can stay afloat. I recommend it.”

“Portsmouth satellite of the main Kittery location, but with a full menu of their awesome & inventive donuts, including their extensive gluten free selection. Flavors change frequently and with the seasons - today they had pumpkin cream cheese, apple bourbon, cranberry Berliner and more. I'd actually forgotten they are vegan, too - you just don't notice. It's takeout only: no toilets, no seating.”

“Wow, what a gem! So happy to have a Boston caliber restaurant in Portsmouth. The design of the restaurant, menu, website is top tier. You can tell they've thought a lot about every little detail (and have good taste ☺️) and it is stunning. The food was reflective of that as well. Super high quality, fresh and simply delicious. I will be back for the mango sticky rice in particular! I hope the restaurant is here to stay a long time! Go check them out, the service was absolutely lovely as well!”

“I’m so happy the Portsmouth location is now open. I’ve been to the Exeter location but Portsmouth is closer. Yesterday’s lunch was great. I’m now addicted to the new portobello sub. Lots of mushrooms making it a filling vegetarian meal. The staff is always cheery. I complemented a young man, Charlie, as I stood in line at the excellent job he was doing on the grill. He was very efficient and as soon as his grill was cleared of orders, he was scraping it clean. If only all employees had that dedication to their job.”

“In addition to spending several times bowling with the family at this place, we recently hosted a 6th birthday party at Portsmouth Bowl a Rama for 9 rambunctious kids that couldn't have turned out better. Everything was completely setup even though we arrived about 30 minutes early. Names of all attendees already programmed in the computer, table and plates set, and two lanes set aside. The staff couldn't have been more patient in spite of the chaotic bowling that followed. Needless to say, the kids had a great time as a result. The included pizza and cake were excellent and presented right on time. Lots of fun in the arcade as well. All for a fantastic price! Look no further if you are shopping for a fantastic and fun birthday package.”

“Liars Bench has a great outdoor seating area. We were able to get seated right away on a beautiful night in Portsmouth. The servers were very friendly. The food was excellent - we got the beer cheese queso and the Tokyo Dog was one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. “Glad to see 🙈 this diner up and running again! Friendly service. Ihad a burger with all the usual toppings but, with sauerkraut! The food that Weird Al Yankovic sing about. I decided to live it up and get an order of onion rings and a bottle of Coke. The onion rings had a spicy taste to it, not a hot spicy but I couldn't identify it. They tasted good. Bar seats available. You order first then you can pick a place to sit down. I had a coupon that was emailed to me so I thought I'd give this place a try. Glad I did. "My Girl" from the Temptations and"Louie Louie" was The style of music playing over the speakers. I recommend this diner.”

“Fantastic experience. I got the veggie stir fry with cauliflower rice and chicken, and it was as delicious as it was filling! They also give you quite a bit of chicken when you get it added, so it was absolutely worth the money. I also go their gluten free brownie and I couldn’t believe how amazing it was (seriously, even if you don’t try to eat gluten-free, you should get this brownie). I will definitely come back.”

Except for a couple of times the lobster roll is always very tender (I hate a tough, chewy piece of lobster!!) and a great deal at $4.99. The seafood chowder is one of the very best I've ever had.
