Was a favorite but chef had a bad night. Service is excellent. Ginger sauce delicious and helped combat dryness of pork chop. Chicken marsala was my favorite but elevated sauce was bland and more like a salsa. Chicken was good and mushrooms nicely cooked.
What an experience! Firstly, our waitress and chef seriously took care of us. I have a lot of food allergies and they went out of their way to consult me and ensure my safety. The chef took my selection from the menu and created an allergy-friendly version of it. It was delightful!
My friend is intolerant of gluten and they also went out of their way to ensure her safety while providing a delicious experience.
I normally find one item on a menu I'm interested in, there were at least 4 or 5 and all of my friends loved what they got. The ambiance is comfortable and modern, the alcohol selections are good. Will return!
A very trendy place nice atmosphere friendly staff great food and a full bar you can choose to dine at a table or pull up a seat at the bar and order your food there, nice patron s and a upper class but yet casual dining and restaurant experience very clean eatery fresh ingredients and great dishes, family owned and operated so the last bite is as good as the first. A place you are going to want to visit more than once
We went early looking for a good burger. WOW, atmosphere is comfortable with the best of foods for all. Sadly the burgers were what we wanted. The menu is mouth watering and the burgers are what you ask for. RARE and blue burger & the garbage burger were our choice. I can't say anything bad, waitress was sweet, attentive and friendly. We will be back!
The food at Christopher's is amazing. You will not get a better chicken piccata anywhere in Dover, believe me I've tried. Their mac and cheese is delicious, and I don't know if they have the roast beast sandwich anymore but if they do and you can get there for lunch definitely give it a try, especially with their onion rings. The onion rings are fantastic.
The parking is tough on 3rd Street, especially now with all of the construction they're doing in Dover, but there's plenty of space around 3rd Street within walking distance, and there's always the parking garage.
Parking is free on weekdays after 7 p.m. and on the weekends, but parking in Dover is fairly cheap when you do have to pay.
The wait staff is very friendly, but service can be a bit slow at times, so if you're going there to have a quick bite, you might not be happy. If you are not in a rush, I highly suggest a visit to Christopher's. They've been at that location for a long time, which is kind of rare these days.
