Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

A month or so ago I called to see if they would have the vegan dilly bars and the manager answered to tell me they weren’t open yet but told me when they would be and that she would indeed have the bars. She was so pleasant and helpful! So I went in the other day and finally got one, I was super happy with all the staff and the dilly bar was worth the wait. :)

We came here to see how the place was since it reopened. The line was super long but a man, who I assume was the owner, came out and was giving out menus and thanking people for being patient. The people at the window were very kind and our food came out faster than I would have expected for a place that was completely mobbed. Great experience and super nice owner and staff.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a cookie dough blizzard and was accidentally given an Oreo blizzard. I went back in and had two employees profusely apologize and immediately gave me the correct blizzard no questions asked. I will be going back just for the customer service!

Hard day at work? DQ. In the dog house? DQ. Only $5 to your name? DQ.

Even if I'm not in Dutch with someone and just want to feel like being treated a little special, the visit to the Somersworth Dairy Queen is always the best call.

The folks there treat me like family. James the manager is awesome at what he does and shows exceptional training skills. Tamara is always ready with a smile and makes sure that everybody gets exactly what they want.

Today I ordered a chili cheese dog and fries with the lemonade and a cherry Dilly bar for dessert. Now that they've been open for a few weeks everyone seems to be finding their niche and establishing patterns which makes customer service better.

They keep the place nice and clean, very often cleaning the tables for the next guest as the previous customers are just getting out to their cars. This is a very popular place so plan on standing in line for at least five minutes, but at the peak times when both registers are open the longest I've had to wait is 10 minutes.

I think it's well worth the wait though. Especially for the delicious food they serve.
