Best meal we have had in a long time and finally had a welcoming and great waitress. To boot our food was and drinks were awesome. Recommend the BLT flatbread as an app.

The best waterfront dining experiences in Claremont! Also great sunset views overlooking the sugar river. The overall menu, location, drinks and atmosphere make this restaurant the premier spot!

The food is always decent, a notch above your average chain restaurant and below fine dining. There's a good variety of things to choose from and the quality of ingredients is above average. The atmosphere is over the top, it's great to see the creativity and effort that was put into the revitalization of this Old Mill. This is a great place for ambience being located right on the waterfalls of the Sugar River.

Difficult evening for our family,we decided to go to The common man. Glad we did the service was good and patient. Food , out of this world delicious. Love the uniqueness and style of this old Mill building

If you wanna try the common man restaurant, ( and you should). Make sure you know where your going. My wife and I went there last night. I was unaware that it was also a hotel, so we went to the wrong place and got to the restaurant via the hotel. An elevator and a few twists and turns later we found it! Once there you will find a staircase. They do have a lift for people who really need it. I myself have a cane. However, I did the stairs. Next time, maybe not. Especially after dining.
Once we got settled, it was a great experience. The service was very friendly, the food excellent. The ambiance was nice and it featured live music on that particular night. I didn't think personally the food was that pricey. Not by today's standards anyway. I'm glad we were able to find it.
