I have been comming here for over 25 years and it is the best seafood, bar none. Everything is fresh. The clams & oysters are shucked when you order. The New England clam chowder, with lots of claims, is a must. The prices can't be beat. With its old shore ambience it is the choice for locals and in the know visitors alike. Go once and you will be back for more, for sure. -

(April 28, 2019, 1:27 am)This place is simply wonderful. Delicious food, generous portions, and fun atmosphere. Got a bowl of clam chowder that could have been a meal on its own, and I'm a heavy eater. Got the fried special and it was huge. A big plate piled high with seafood goodness. The scallops were so good and light-years ahead of the chewy garbage you get at most places. My only complaint is that they are not open year round so it's hard to wait until the season starts but that's a sign of just how good it is.

...in and out...but if you do have to wait, make it fun by bringing your own wine or beer or both! -

(March 17, 2019, 1:24 pm)My wife and I go here all the time. Good food, excellent service, and good value. We bring friends and they always love it. I wish that they were open on Saturdays in the off season, if only for chowder and fried clam strips. The owners must have a million friends and admirers. We hope that this resturant will continue until our last days on earth. Thanks Pete and Patrice, we love you!

(March 2, 2019, 3:54 pm)This place is my favorite restaurant of all time. I can say that I have been here over 100 times and have never had an issue with my food or service. Fair prices for amazing quick seafood. It is best to call and see how long the wait is. This place tends to get extremely busy mid to late day. I recommend the new England clam chowder and the fried clam strips. If you are ever in the area you should come here. And if you aren't in the area.. its worth the drive.
