“I haven’t been to this place in probably 20+ years. Everyone says the Buffalo wings are some of the best around. I have to say I am in agreement. These just edge out Charlies in taste with the mild sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and the wing pieces seemed to be more or a light meat in comparison to others. The tenders aren’t your area standard and seem more tender than others that can be a little dry and stringy. The side tossed salad was a very good size and the Jalapeño Ranch dressing was good, had a little more heat than I anticipated. If I had one complaint it is the lack of wing sauce at the bottom of the bowl. With meaty tenders i like to dip back in the wing sauce at the bottom but my order was lacking in this area vs, Charlie’s makes sure you have plenty. I’ll definitely return.”

“I'm a newcomer to Playa Bowls and I tell you it blew my expectations away. Walking in along my Coworker that knows her stuff about Acai Bowls we were greeted by the outgoing Staff and Owner. I was here over the weekend in April and everything was perfect. the food tasted amazing and the service was very quick. the place seemed a little bit busy. “This place is simply wonderful. Delicious food, generous portions, and fun atmosphere. Got a bowl of clam chowder that could have been a meal on its own, and I'm a heavy eater. Got the fried special and it was huge. A big plate piled high with seafood goodness. The scallops were so good and light-years ahead of the chewy garbage you get at most places. My only complaint is that they are not open year round so it's hard to wait until the season starts but that's a sign of just how good it is.”

“Always a great experience both in atmosphere and food and service. The service is always friendly, timely and focused on great customer satisfaction. The food is fabulous and prepared well to specification. I have yet to be dissatisfied with the portion size, flavor or being improper cooking. After dinner, take your drink and dance to the music on the floating walkway by sunset, dusk or dark. And the price is all decent. We love our Baia!!❤️”

“My husband and I went to Charlie's for a late lunch. It was a Saturday in March. The restaurant was mobbed, but we were shown to a good table. The service was great, food outstanding, beer was cold. The only downside was there was a family right next to us with small children who were running around the bar, screaming and running into people and servers. I Know Charlie's is a family friendly place, but maybe people should think twice about bringing toddlers and infants to a bar.”
