    If you've spent anytime in Japan or immersed in the culture, it's culinary sweets are probably one of the things that left an indelible impression in your mind. Minamoto Kitchoan brings the art of Japanese sweets to the United States. This outpost is part of the Mitsuma Japanese Marketplace Shopping Center. The staff does an excellent job of guiding newcomers and highlighting the seasonal specials. For the uninitiated, don't expect overly sweet to accompany your unique and overly cute confections. Be open and try the holiday specials (Valentine's Day, Easter, etc.) for the biggest impact.
