The Pit

Awesome BBQ. Ordered the “Pit Burger” and it was amazing! The restaurant itself is clean, cozy and the staff is very friendly. Prices are good as well. Definitely will be back.

Brisket was fatty and smoked to perfection. Baby back ribs were tasty but could've been more meaty imo. Sides included fries, cole slaw, corn bread and baked beans, which were all good. Chocolate chip cookies were suprisingly amazing.

Finally an authentic BBQ joint in the area! I recently ordered delivery and the food was amazing. I had the half chicken/ half ribs combo, mac & cheese, and pulled pork. The meat was very tender and juicy, not dry at all. And we received our order promptly on time. I can't wait to try their brisket next time. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Hiram's, meet your sister restaurant, The Pit. Pulled meat, sauce, bun, fries -- all excellent and served up the way they should be . You gotta love a place that focuses on a few things to get them just right. Tiny, quaint outlet, efficiently geared up for take out, but you can eat-in (which I did) at the window facing counter.

Had to write a review because the other user is bugging giving them 1 Star with no explanation. Maybe he has a rival BBQ restaurant somewhere. I live right down the block and I’m so happy The Pit opened up. Love Texas BBQ and this place is on point. Pulled pork sandwich, Mac N Cheese, even the cornbread and cookies are soft and baked fresh. Can’t go wrong.
