Peshawri Grill: Frontier Indian Cuisine ~ By Khyber Grill Catere

Reviewing based on carry out order I placed for weekend dinner. I ordered pakoras from appetizers and they were stale. They smelt badly of the cooking oil and had a stale taste. Weren't even crispy. Biryani was okay , nothing extra ordinary. I wanted to give a try to another items on menu but i don't think I'll be back.

This place has got everything right. Went for a New Year's lunch with friends and was immediately glad that we started the new year on a great note. The overall ambience of the place is excellent and is very inviting. We started by ordering a peshawri kabab which came out cooked to perfection. The lamb for the entree was very juicy and perfectly cooked as well. The garlic naan was one of the best that I've had in a while. The entire staff was very professional and extremely hospitable. Definitely going there again even though it's a bit of a drive from my home.

It is a nice, reasonable buffet. It is not a big place, but the buffet is kept very clean and the dishes were all fresh. They have a decent selection and a certain elegance that is often lacking at buffets. There is not a lot of parking and the building feels more like an office building, but once you are inside it is very pleasant for a lunch with friends. I also think of it as the perfect introduction to Indian food because it allows you to try so many different dishes all at once and you can go back for the ones that you like the most. The price was very reasonable and I'm sure we will be going back soon.

The food is wonderful and the service top notch. We were allowed to bring in our own wine as they don’t have a liquor licence. The dishes are authentic and taste excellent. Our server Deepak was very friendly and attentive.

May be their common 1-2 dishes are good. But food we had has no taste as per details in the menu. Gravy tasted like uncooked. Long way to improve. My best wishes only.
