Really enjoyed their brisket and fries. The brisket was so soft, it felt like it melted like butter. It taste very good paired with their bbq sauce and sweet chili sauces mixed together. Their fries are always fresh to serve.
First time eating there and having brisket period! Crazy but I wouldn't have tried it if Khaliq didn't recommend it. My mom enjoyed it too. Very juicy & delicious. Thank you for the welcoming and great costumer service from the both of you. Can't wait to bring my mother there again when in the area. I want to try it all with her. ????
Great food for decent pricing. Really nice staff even came around restaurant style to each table to make sure everyone is satisfied. Their Mac and cheese was unique but delicious their sweet potato are whipped fine and have candied buts in it. And the meats were seasoned well. Would definitely recommend and will go back. They need one in Philly!!!
I've gone to Mighty Quinn in NYC for a few years, so when I saw one at the Garden State Plaza, I had to go ASAP. The BBQ is excellent, one of the better ones around. I was hoping for a similar experience to the one in the West Village - hipster guys with beards carving enthusiastically while explaining the food and all the included condiment options. Sadly, nothing like that here. I had to ask lots of questions to get the staff to explain anything here. They were very friendly, but were about to give us our food without telling us about the condiments that are included with an entree (pickled cucumbers, pickled onions, hot peppers). Good thing I asked.
That said, the food speaks volumes. The brisket was tender and delicious. The pulled pork is also really good and not too sweet, but the burnt ends (another entree choice) are kind of dry. The coleslaw (included with an entree) and pickled veggies were excellent. We also got a chocolate milkshake which was also superb. Prices are fair. I would definitely show up here again for the food but will not expect a "West Village" kind of atmosphere and experience.
Mighty Quinn's is located across from the Shake Shack, near the entrance to the mall.
