Great tacos; the pulled pork and brisket are my favorites and the toppings were fresh, they literally made the salsa topping while I waited for my order. Will definitely be back again. Staffing needs might need to be adjusted for weekend days, the line was moving a bit too slow but it was worth it in the end.

I recently went to the Chocolate expo and decided to try this place while I was there, I am very glad that I did, the owner and staff were very friendly as well as personal. I decided to order one each of the meats, while I was waiting I watched as a women behind the counter was making the tortillas by hand! When I got my order I decided to try the chicken first expecting the usual bland boring semi dry chicken to my surprise is was juicy, tender, and flavorful! My wife was equally impressed by the food, the rest of the meats were of the same quality and equally delicious. This place is definitely on the pricey side but any one who knows about this cooking technique knows how difficult it is, for this quality of food I felt it was well worth the price. Any one looking for a friendly place and delicious food should not pass this place up!

I highly recommend Carlitos tacos. If you live in the area, you know how hard it is to find authentic Mexican tacos. One of my biggest concerns when moving from NYC to NJ was the ability to find quality places to eat, but Carlitos helped ease any doubts that I had. The combination of flavors and quality meat makes it worth the slightly extra cost that some people may be used to paying for tacos (if you're looking for Taco Bell prices, just compare the quality of meat and you'll soon realize you get what you pay for). A pleasant surprise was how tasty the vegetarian taco was (LOVE the combo of cheese and platains, etc.). Looking forward to my next trip back to the mall so that I can sample the rest of their menu.

If there is 1 thing that is hard to find in North Jersey is good Mexican Food. I have finally found a place with great tacos, great street corn, great quesadillas and great service. I was real iffy about the trying this place because it looked like the typical Tex-Mex trash food but this is far from it. The tortilla used is amazing, the flavor of the meats, amazing. A definite must try. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. They also let you try before you buy.
