The Risotto House

This is my 2nd review. The first visit was super positive about the food and lack luster on the hostess
This time, the hostess stepped it up and the service was amazing
And...the food was good.
I LOVED the seafood salad and my companion got the 3 beans & garlic appetizer...that was absolutely amazing
But my fish dish...branzino in garlic wine sauce, had no flavor. I added some of the beans to my dish to add flavor.
I love this little place and I want them to succeed, but they need to be consistent and taste-check each dish before serving

Wow ! I had a craving for risotto & I was about to make it on my own. Good thing I found this GEM in Rutherford. Orders for the evening as followed ... crab cakes in mustard sauce & the Rutherford salad ( delicious fresh ingredients including goat cheese & apples ). My entree was the chicken, asparagus risotto & my boyfriend entree seafood risotto. As soon as we arrived we were promptly served with warm bread & butter. BYOB. Wine was corked and poured by the wonderful server we had. Great & calming environment. Definitely a place to go to when in town! Rutherford such a quaint strip to enjoy ! Wonderful, clean restaurant !

Great Risotto! Came here years ago and have been dying to come back. Luckily, I made reservations and am excited to dine here again. I had such an enjoyable experience I wanted to come back.

The Risotto House has been a favorite restaurant of my wife & mine since early 2000's. It was actually one of the reasons we moved to Rutherford. The food is always amazing, especially the Risotto. I recommend the Cheese Risotto and the Risotto Primavera. It's a BYOB (no corking fee) so don't forget to bring your favorite wine / spirits / beer. Very reasonable price for dinner. It's street parking, so make sure you leave time to find a spot (there's a municipal lot around the corner a block away)

Highest quality risotto I have ever had! The salmon and mozzarella complimented the dish perfectly. The spinach and ricotta stuffed mushrooms were delicious! Cute and cozy place, but it's BYOB so don't forget your wine.
