“Wow ! I had a craving for risotto & I was about to make it on my own. Good thing I found this GEM in Rutherford. Orders for the evening as followed ... crab cakes in mustard sauce & the Rutherford salad ( delicious fresh ingredients including goat cheese & apples ). My entree was the chicken, asparagus risotto & my boyfriend entree seafood risotto. As soon as we arrived we were promptly served with warm bread & butter. BYOB. Wine was corked and poured by the wonderful server we had. Great & calming environment. Definitely a place to go to when in town! Rutherford such a quaint strip to enjoy ! “Their cakes and cookies are amazing. They look and taste wonderful. The cakes ordered were always perfect and on time. Staff is lovely and friendly on the phone and when you visit. This place is a dream for someone on a vegan or allergy limited diet. They have vegan, soy free, and gluten free options so make sure to ask which items suit your needs. If I remember correctly, they're also a nut free shop. I still can't believe how good the cakes taste without dairy or eggs. I'm convinced it's pure magic.”

“So happy that there’s a Playa in Rutherford (way easier commute for me). The team is great and are quick to assist with any questions/requests I have, and the music they play is just as diverse as the customers who eat here. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait (especially if all the kids in the area just got out of school), but it is because there are so many people who love Playa Bowls. The team is very transparent with the wait times so I don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes for my Mermaid Fuel or my ChiaTella Bowl. Everything on the menu is great. From the fresh lemonades to the Poke Bowl options, there’s something for everyone. Overall I love this business, I recommend that everyone visit - be sure to ask for a sample !”

Its a secures place, offering parking sport for at-least 15 min (although don't worry if you park for more time then it is said, because they don't do anything other than saying) Over all good place to visit in evening with good environment. Speaking of the drive-through the board needs an update, can beraly see the menu at times. Employees need to stop scoffing or rolling their eyes when I ask for sauce for my wings, it's not coming out of your paycheck. Sounds petty but this happened enough times for me to go and write this review. One employee said 'but I got to go in the back' with a straight face when I asked for ranch.”

“Been there twice since it's been revamped and under different management... Very clean, nice setup, nice staff, great looking menu. The food is pretty good. The pizza is better than others in the area. Its tough to find if there wasn't a banner on the fence of the mini mall, but definitely a good find, so give it a try. You can go for a date or with a group of 20. They have the space to accommodate.”
