Asante's Restaurant

Just finished an amazing meal from here. Forgot to ask the woman behind the counter her name but she was superb. She let me try a few things and was super helpful. I got rice and beans with goat stew. A beef samosa and a small egusi. Everything was excellent. Will go again and recommend any reader of this to try the place.

3/26 was my first time at this restaurant and I cannot say enough good things. I noticed the flyers for a “Night Under the Stars” earlier in the week so I decided to check it out. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a balloon arch and everyone got dressed up to support the themed night. I ordered the chicken stew, the jollof rice and fufu. It was my first time trying African food and it was delicious, it tasted so fresh and had so much flavor. Cannot way to come back!

On 3/6/22, I had an amazing experience at the restaurant, I was served by a wonderful cashier named Trina. She was friendly, polite and a pleasure to talk to. She had patience with me as I asked questions about each dish and answered in a polite manner. Because of her warm personality, I will definitely visit Asante’s restaurant again.

Went there with my family after attending an event in the area. The food was delicious, we ordered Tilapia, king fish, spinach, fried yam, jollof rice, turkey tails, sweet plantain. Big portions and great price compared to what I am used to paying in the Union/Essex County area. I wish I lived closer to that place.

A nice clean place haven't eaten there as yet but soon... Just checked it out. The food store is good too lot of Guyanese products hope they get more. Very close to where I live too
