Ry and Howies Steaks and Hoagies

We noticed it on our way to JBMDL and decided to give them a visit. My husband ordered an Italian with everything, and I had a plain tuna. Each sandwich was made to order. The rolls were fantastic; we both have leftovers for 2 more meals.
He didn't think there was enough meat on his sandwich; I was overwhelmed by mine.

My new favorite spot for hoagies and sandwiches! Very friendly staff and great service. We have tried 4 of the hot sandwiches so far. All were excellent, my favorite so far is the buffalo chicken cheesesteak!

Different cheesesteak #1129 in the last five years. Very good cheesesteak but much better customer experience. I got to Ry and Howies at closing time. The door was locked. A young woman inside saw me and ran, yes ran, to the door. She opened it and said, ‘I am sorry but we are out of hoagie meat and only have seeded rolls.’ I said, ‘Perfect, I want a cheesesteak on a seeded roll.’ She said, ‘come on in.’ And they have parking and bathrooms. Super duper bonus; $13.99!! The cheesesteak; It will be in this year’s March cheesesteak Madness. Thank you Ry and Howie for restoring my faith in humanity!!

Been craving a good roast pork sandwich and decided to give a local place a try and this place absolutely delivered. Had the roast pork sandwich with the broccoli rabe and cheese fries and it was everything I had imagined it would be and the rabe was delicious. Pork and the au jus on the seeded roll *chefs kiss* We dined in because we needed out of the house and it was nice to sit and watch the flyers. My family will definitely be coming back here whether it’s to sit and eat or for takeout. Staff were also friendly happy and pleasant. ☺️

As with some other reviews, maybe just a less than great day. First, bread was phenomenal. Onion rings great. The turkey sub was good, I was just disappointed with the amount of turkey for a $15 sandwich. The chicken cutlet sub was ok. I was sad that the paper they wrap around the sandwich got stuck to a lot of the goodies inside. The chicken cutlets, while they seem freshly breaded did not really have any flavor in the bread crumbs. Also, they were either a bit overcooked, or the fryer oil needs changing. Staff from the ones answering the phones to the ones at counter were great. I will return in the future as others have, to try again.
