Godmother's Restaurant

Very good experience only one drawback. We called in the afternoon for a reservation for 8. They were very. Accommodating. Actually sat us in the same table as the year before which was fun. Food for all was very good except for one dish. The white clam linguini was horrible! They must have put milk in it to make it white. It was disgusting! Other than that everyone enjoyed the meals

The restaurant stayed open for our late arrival into West Cape May. The Veal Marsala was outstanding, the scallops the BEST we have had in Cape May! Add to that their delicious butter and yummy deserts ! We have eaten in almost every restaurant in Cape May and hands down we love it here! Thanks too for the friendly staff!

Very happy with our choice tonight. Our usual place closed so we were left picking a new restaurant for date night during vacation. Godmothers was awesome! Food was great, service was excellent and it wasn’t overly pricey. Antipasto was a perfect starter, wished they had better bread to go with it, but it was still very good. Sauce was better than most and homemade gnocchi, how could you go wrong?!

My husband and I went for dinner. I got the early bird special which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was excellent. I felt that it was the perfect portion size. Presentation was beautiful. Waitstaff was wonderful. It's relaxed inside. No being picked in like sardines of so much noise you can barely hear yourself. My husband also really enjoyed his meal.

I've also gone with my young children a few years ago. You can comfortably bring your child.

Early bird special is perfect! Great food for a great price. Very classy but casual place. (Bring kids, but please keep them, and you, off your devices.) Friendly and attentive staff. Perfect for a family celebration or any festive occasion.
