Sapore Italiano

Fist time visiting this restaurant. Was greeted by very nice staff and very accomidating. What made this the best ever was the amazing server who was very attentative and made sure all our needs were met. Then the most delicious food was served to us and when,I say everything was fresh it was I was absolutely impressed by the creativity and healthy choices on the menu. This is a must visit and 5 stars does not give this place enough credit for the dedication and politeness of the entire staff.

Food is absolutely fantastic . We received complimentary antipasto which was very yummy. Gnocchi is homemade and ridiculously tasty. Chicken dishes were delicious. Chicken was very thin and perfect. Espresso is always a good ending and very delicious. Tartuffo is homemade and my daughter was in heaven. Staff is always wonderful and very attentive

We walked from our B and B to this lovely Italian Restaurant. Even though it was off season, it was packed! We had dinner at 530, and stayed til 730. We were celebrating our 39th anniversary, which I commented on in Open Table, where we made our reservations. They gave us a wonderful table. This is a BYOB restaurant, and we bought with us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. They gave us "right from the freezer" glasses so the champagne was frosty!

The food was delicious. Being from Northern Jersey, I am a little snobby about Italian food, but this was def up to par with restaurants we frequent at home. Our wait staff were friendly and helpful, and not in our way.

Simply put one of the most authentic and best testing Italian places I've been to. I made the mistake if assuming the price meant small portions.
I ordered the Italian wedding soup and the veal special. I can pack away food, and I struggled to finish the portions. The soup was thick, with two good sized meatballs. The veal was stuffed in crab meat with a nice sauce. This was pure jumbo lump on top of two dinner plate size pieces of veal. I had more crab than a whole blue claw crab pulled fresh from the local rivers. My wife finally admitted this place was better than any pasta she's ever had.

We found this restaurant just by chance. It was simply lovely. The food was so good, our party left their plates clean. The wedding soup was so delicious. The atmosphere was great and the waitress was attentive to everyone in our party.
We hear the place gets packed so you do need a reservation. Sapore Italiano is definitely a 5!
