“We had heard so much about Shore House seafood, and given it is less than a block away, decided to give it a try. We got the Shrimp and corn chowder and an order of old bay shrimp. The chowder was AMAZING and had a slight sweet taste to it which we loved, and the shrimp was so good on its own it didn’t even need the cocktail sauce! “Great addition to Cape May ! Super fresh local fish at the counter, with lots of delicious lunch options to choose from. Bonus little farm stand inside with some fresh fruits and veggies, provisions like fresh made bruschetta, seaweed salad, mango salad, chips and pretzels, sauces, desserts, etc. They were super accommodating when I said I needed lobster salad to make some “semi-homemade” rolls at home, priced it out for me by the pound, with rolls and lemons from the indoor farm stand. Grabbed a variety of different chips and was on my way! The family loved the lobster rolls, huge chunks of fresh juicy lobster meat lightly dressed. Very friendly, family owned and operated team. We will definitely be back to try more of their staple sandwiches to bring to the beach!”

“Upon arrival, we sat outside and didn’t get quick attention of the waitress cos we saw she was busy. but the moment she had a chance, it was a blissful journey all the way to the empty plate we left on the table. We had to move inside to feel the coziness cos it was quite breezy outside. The food took a little to come out but I am glad we gave them a chance cos the moment the plate landed our table, we couldn’t stop eating. The lady who attended to us along with the other staff that came momentarily were so kind that we felt so at home. We ordered two of the crab omelettes and oh boy boy boy, it’s the best omelette we have ever tasted. Some people got up and left cos they felt the wait was too long but I feel that’s a mistake. Even if we had to wait an hour, I would still choose this place over and over again. Lovely. I can’t say enough of that.”

“Good ice cream with a variety of options. It's open late during the summer, which is a plus. The only complaint is the service tends to be slow. We know that if there are 5 or 6 people ahead of us in line, it'll be about 20-30 minutes until we're served. It would be good to have two people working the windows on the busy summer nights to make the line move a little faster. It's close to our house and everyone is friendly, so we will keep going back despite the slower service.”

“Your experience really depends on what room you receive. I booked through a third party for $115/ night. We stayed in room 02 in the Inn itself. The room is comically small, definitely would not want to be here for more than a weekend. Check-in is located access the street at Congress Hall, which is not exactly ideal. Bed was a bit on the hard side, and barely fit in the room. Toilet is cramped next to the shower, there is no tub. No mini-fridge or mini-bar. You're paying for the easy access to the Washington St. Mall and you are a block from the beach. We could see the ocean from both windows, which was certainly a plus.”

“This is my family’s new favorite eat-in pizza restaurant in Cape May. I had the mushroom pizza which was really unique and delicious (it comes with smoked bacon and turnips on it!). My husband had the margarita and it was very good too. Salads were decent and the wine was good. Service was great too! We had a big party but got there early so we got a table pretty quickly. A nice addition was the live music.”
