I ordered dinner to go today since there is no dining in restaurants right now. The food overall is just fair. Nothing was great, but nothing was bad either. They give you onion focaccia bread which was good, but the edges were too hard. For my appetizer I had the heirloom beet salad with candied walnuts and blue cheese which wasn’t good. The quality of the ingredients were low grade. The salad wasn’t fresh and crisp. The blue cheese was low grade, and didn’t even taste like blue cheese! For dinner I had the tagliolini with shrimp, lobster, and crab meat which was just ok. The pasta wasn’t house made and the sauce had no flavor. This restaurant serves large portions, but it’s quantity over quality here.

The food was very good, but we felt rushed with our 7 pm reservation. The waitress seemed under pressure to take our order quickly, so I wouldn't call this a relaxed meal. The restaurant was full and lively, which is nice, so be prepared to deal with a fair amount of noise.

Excellent meal with friends. Lively upscale BYO. Our food was prepared beautifully. Special requests were handled perfectly. Even though the restaurant had just opened recently, our waiter was extremely knowledgable and professional.

The beloved longtime Montclair institution formerly known as Osteria Giotto is back under a new name after a few years hiatus. Same original owners, refreshed menu, still amazing food and service. Looks like the best Italian in the area is back and hasn’t lost a step!

The best Italian food in the area. I always feel welcomed and relaxed here. Glad they left the Church Street location and returned ‘home.’ Same amazing food and desserts, just more to choose from.
