“I went for an event which included a sit down lunch. The environment is quaint and warm but still spacious. The staff seem to be a skeleton crew since it wasn’t the usual business hours, but they were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and I loved the presentation. I’m looking forward to going back for dinner service on a regular night. But I didn’t see the puff pastry wrapped brie that I had at the event on the menu! ????. And the menu is definitely priced higher than I expected.”

“This place was fantastic. Small, casual, and excellent food. We were able to get in without a reservation, but it took a lot of luck. The service is very friendly and efficient, and it's the right kind of small and bustling to be cozy. I had the braised duck, and then the bread pudding and coffee. Mostly I noticed that the texture of everything was perfect. The duck easily shredded with a fork, and the dish came with frites to sop up the sauce. The bread pudding was a great citrus cream flavor, and not too sweet. My only regret is that everything else on the menu looked just as good, so I don't know what to get next time.”

“This place knows how to smoke meats and their pizza is just as good. What really sets them apart is their outdoor space which offers live music on the weekends. Couple that with a BYOB policy and you got yourself an evening of entertainment at a great price. We've been going for years and plan to keep going. On nights with live music, it is highly recommended to get there early or miss out on a table as they fill up quick. Expect a line on Friday or Saturday summer nights.”

“I got the fried chicken, fried shrimp, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. They were good but I don't think they were good enough for me to become a regards customer. Additionally, when I walked in, four staff members just stared at me. Someone brought over a bag of food and placed it on one end of the counter, not by the register where I was standing. The girl at the register stared at me I til I asked if that bag of food, that was at the end of the counter instead of in front of me, was for me. She said yes and I took it and left. I also got a lot of weird looks for leaving a tip? Wasn't a very welcoming environment.”

“My family and I try new restaurants every month and we decided to try Diesel and Duke. We ordered three American burgers and three fries. I must admit it was the best burger we tried in a long time. The burger was cooked so well and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The food took only 10 minutes to be made and the amount of fries for a single person, could feed two. We decided to go back a few more time and the food was just as good, as the first time. We now have movie night every month featuring Diesel and Duke's delicious food.”

“My husband and I went for our one year wedding anniversary. First time going and LOVED every minute of it. The staff is very nice and pleasant! There food was amazing! We will be going back soon. We started with the scallops; so good. I had the venison, it was cooked to perfection! He had the lamb shank, fall off the bone amazing! Finished with a cappuccino. Perfect evening!
