    I went there with my family... a bit of a long wait but totally worth it. Try the fried fennel and mashed potatoes! It's amazing!

    Love this place, really friendly. They have a different areas depending on what you fancy. From dining with the family in the upstairs to cocktails in the Essex Bar. Highly recommend.

    Overall good.

    Ordered cocktail reseveration rye - excellent taste but pour could be more generous and stronger in alcohol content. Beet salad - excellent. Black bass - good but did not come with a side which it should, tasted great but looked bare on plate.

    Ambiance warm beautiful American style.

    Service excellent.

    4 stars but wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a 5 star place.

    A HUGE win for South Orange and Maplewood. Instantly one of the best restaurants around. The ribeye is fantastic (as is everything else I’ve eaten there). The room is cozy and warm. Staff was friendly and super-accommodating to kids too.
