Fantastic food, pizza could easily be the best ...on NJ especially the grandma pie.

Everything I've had has been great..
From the escarole salad with shaved parmesan cheese to the hanger steak marinated in balsamic and honey isc to die for at a ridiculously low price..
Italian is obviously their specialty , i love ther baby Roman Artichokes and each pasta dish is better then the last..
I thought the Bolognase es ny favorite until i tried this other pasta with big twirls, beans sausage(which id home made) ...in a white wine lemon sauce my mouth is watering..
Service is excellent and ther owner Nick is right there and will garaunteed visit your table.. if one piece of any dish isn't perfect he will make you a new one himself...
If i could give this 20 stars i would.. and i could eat ..he every night and not get bored..

We always pass by this place and never think to eat there but this time we did and it was wonderful! Food was fresh and delicious and the service was very good too. The place is definitely in the rotation. Try to go a little later like 8pm, that is when it becomes a little more quieter and it is a BYOB.

The review is mixed.
Pro: Love the food, location, cozy atmosphere and super sweet wait staff, and fair price in general.
Con: I ordered the shrimp dinner. Although tasty, it literally came with 4 normal size shrimp and mashed potatoes. I was done eating in four bites. The cost $24.00. So, $6.00 a shrimp? If they had been colossal or jumbo shrimp ok...but no. Also, no vegetables to at least fill the plate. We got there late so maybe they ran out? My husband jokingly said did the other half fall off the plate? I’m still giving 4 stars because I do like it there but if this is the norm for the shrimp dish I’ll never order it again.

This was my first time there and was pleasantly surprised. Everything I had was delicious from the mozzarella, tomato appetizer, the salad, calamari, to the chicken. I will definitely be going back. Who knew this tasty little place was in Verona!
