“This restaurant is an expansion of a franchise started in Pal Park. My wife and I would always eat the fried chicken at that location anytime we headed up there. It was a wonderful surprise to see one of these open up in town. I'm happy to report that the chicken is just as good as what we get in Pal Park. Korean fried chicken is cooked to perfection. It's not oily or heavy on the stomach the way some other places make it. The only thing you need to be mindful of is having some kind of vegetable on the side. Steam up some broc at home and you'll be all set, or order the pickled radish to go with the chicken. Highly recommend. If ordering online, make sure you set your location to the Verona restaurant and not one of the other locations in Bergen county.”

“Hands-down, I finally found one of the best bagel places in North Jersey. The bagels are soft, fresh and literally taste like New York City bagels! I always get bacon egg and cheese on a black Russian bagel with salt pepper and hot sauce and it has become my new staple once a week. It’s one of the best bagel sandwiches I’ve ever had, and I’m from New York so I can make this statement LOL 😌😁 Thank you Bagel cafe for making life more enjoyable every week with your bagels 🥯 I highly recommend this place: the owner is very nice and the staff are very attentive. “Let me start out by saying that despite what you're about to read, the "Italian Philly Cheesesteak" was delicious. Then again, how hard is it to throw meat, cheese and toppings onto a long roll? As you can see from the attached picture, we started out with high hopes. We were told 15-20 minutes for an order of 2 Cheesesteaks, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and a milkshake. Considering there were 5 employees behind the counter and only 3 people ahead of us, it seemed a bit much but seeing as it is only their third week in operation we should have some patience, right? At the 45 min mark we went back inside to check on our order. We were met with confusion as they had prepared our order but had made no effort to notify us. They claimed to have sent us a confirmation text, which is impossible as they never requested a phone number. At no point did they come from behind the counter to where we sat ten feet away to announce they had completed our order. On discovery of their mistake, our food and profuse apologies were provided. Thankfully, the food was still warm. The mozzarella sticks were delicious but steer clear of the soggy onion rings (clearly straight from a bag). I will go back, but not until they get their act together.”

“First timers for my husband and me and it was a real fun experience! We ordered a whole bunch: 1. 6 wings soy garlic 4. Large colpop, Level 3 with coke 6. Steamed vegetable dumplings 7. Ramen rice cake - mild 15. Cheese rice sticks - soy garlic 16. Bungeo-ppang order of 3- 2 cheese, 1 red bean Wings were outrageously good. Crispy and even for takeout. Colpop is like popcorn chicken but meatier. Level 3 is not too intense and I'm pregnant and rather sensitive to heat at this time. Veggie dumplings could have used a dipping sauce. Would definitely try kimchi or a meat option next time. Ramen was a nice change from all the chicken. Cheese rice sticks, fun but probably won't order again. Bungee-ppang- get the cheese kind. Red bean was basically smashed beans.”

“I went to the Guac Spot tonight for the first time. I loved everything about this place. The decor is tasteful and fun, the staff is super nice and helpful and the food is amazing. “A place to see, a place to be. When searching for a restaurant while in a new area can sometimes be a daunting task but it was easy to understand why the Verona inn was so highly rated. From the moment I sat down at the bar the cleanliness and structure of the place let me know I was somewhere that the employees and curators care. The high level of beer knowledge from my bartender was encouraging. I knew immediately I would get the taste I was looking for tonight. After ordering my first drink and requesting additional information and options I was served a few more beers... Of excellent choice. The locals drew me in with their introductions and conversation. I was no longer just a visitor but a well-regarded patron. After a couple of drinks it was time to order and I was not disappointed. Being adventurous I like to order from the specials and the wings tasted great. By the time I had left I had a history of the bar, the city and a few new friends but best of all a place to go when I return. Thank you for the experience.”

Maybe it's just their recipe but compared to many of the other Pad See Ews I have had tried both across Thailand and in local Thai restaurants in NJ, NYC, and SF, I just felt that it was seriously lacking flavor. So much so that I felt that it must have been a mistake so maybe I'll try it again However!..Their Pad Thai was some of the best Pad Thai I have ever had and the decor of their restaurant is beautiful.
