“This place just opened, so I can't wait to see where it goes! Our experience was excellent. Amazing beer selection, with about 30 to choose from. They have beers I haven't seen anywhere else with a good mix of any type you want! My friend and I love sour beers and had a few to choose from, which isn't our usual experience. Food was excellent as well. Two people split a pizza and I got the pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork was SO GOOD. I'd come back just for that! Perfectly prepared. I didn't have pizza, but my friends were happy! Can't wait until they get real menus! Only confusing part was the valet. He was only valeting certain cars and waving others through? We were waved through with no choice either way (it was pouring rain, so would have liked the option for a valet). There is a large parking lot, so, imo, no need for valet anyway. Overall, I hope this place sticks around!”

“The prices for Chinese food at this restaurant might look highish, but let me tell you the serving size is virtually incredible. Also, the cost covers many small charms that this restaurant has in store for someone who opts to eat in. Firstly, the crispy noodles and duck sauce that are on the table when you arrive are quite irresistible and above-average. This is an example of how this establishment attempts to stand out, and succeeds in my opinion, by excelling in the "little things" department. Another "little thing" I liked would be the tea, in that it was noticeably stronger than what I have come to expect in free tea at Chinese restaurants. Additionally, when the check was brought to me, it included—not fortune cookies, not orange slices—but pieces of pineapple. I believe they were from canned pineapple, but they were still good and a welcome surprise. I love pineapple, no matter the form! I ordered Buddhist Delight with tofu. It arrived within five minutes, a massive portion. I ate til I was full and my plate hardly looked different! The brown sauce was very good. The tofu could have been a little crispier or chewier (either/or), but this would have meant longer cooking time and I was glad to get it promptly. And I'm proud to say this is the first baby corn I have had in recent memory that I kind of actually liked! I attribute this to freshness, although I cannot say for sure. When my water glass was empty, my waiter filled it immediately, always appreciated. A few other little things that I found refreshing include good music, which was soothing current folk music I believe. Also, the TV on the wall showed a nature program, which was certainly preferable to some horrid talk show, infomercial, or best-forgotten film on TNT or TBS. Overall, it was a very nice visit and if I need to stop off and grab a flavorful bite again before going food shopping, I'll know where to go!”

“My daughter and I went here a couple of months ago and it was pretty good. The food was good, the service was good, the only drawback is that it's a smaller place and sometimes tough to get into. The boots are a little bit small but we may do. The location is Shirley good although they're doing a lot of construction around the area. Parking can be tough at times. Especially on the weekends.”

“FIRE is a decent place to get standard American fare for a good price. The food is either delicious or average, and the meat options are quite good. We dined in for lunch and tried the 1/4 chicken dark with cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes, the waffle fries, and the 6 ribs with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Waffle fries are fine, but the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese are nothing more than mediocre and bland. The chicken was good, and the ribs are flavorful but fatty. (My dining partner liked this about them, though.) Corn bread was fantastic, and the cucumber salad and garlic parsley potatoes are both fantastic sides - I’d highly recommend them. The place is great for a bite for very good prices. Menu has quite the variety, so it’s worth stopping by if you’re close.”
