Bengali Sweet House

It's a great restaurant for food . They have a lot varieties but the comparetively the cost is low around the corner. Yummy and u will have Bengali sweets to add to your menu...the only drawback is the space . We don't have sufficient space for sitting and eating. But the taste, price and service is awesome.

Buffet has feeling of home cooked food and without much oil.

Very good lunch and dinner buffet. It's a small place but food is good. Indian sweets are really good at this place.
Their weekends lunch and dinner buffet are highly recommended.

This is one of the many Indian restaurants in the Newark Ave area in Jersey City. I am giving it 2 and a half star with the following break down:

1 * for it being 100% vegetarian
1 * for the price of the food
1/2 * for the average food (not bad, just average).

I am taking 2 stars away for their pathetic customer service and the below average ambiance. They need to learn customer service. The owner yelled loudly and angrily at my child. That's just not acceptable even though I agree that the kid was hyper. Secondly, the ladies who were behind the buffet counter were constantly talking about us probably because they didn't like something about us. The place is small. A party of 8 or more must be seated on different tables. Rest rooms were not clean. I won't go here again.

You can get varieties of sweets. Small cozy restaurant serving fresh and delicious food. Serving hot chapatis for buffet.
Good food for good price.
