Have never had a bad meal here and I’ve been at least three times. This is one of the best places for handcrafted cocktails in Jersey City. I’ve tried a bunch of them and they are always fantastic. Only disappointing meal I’ve had was the breakfast burrito but that may just be because I didn’t like the potato to egg ratio, too heavy on the potatoes. Burger, Nutella Pancakes, Fried Chicken and Waffles, Ham sandwich, Bone Marrow, Duck Wings, all delicious. Would highly recommend Kitchen Step and definitely get a reservation.
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Jersey City. I have dined here for both brunch and dinner- everything is absolutely delicious! Friendly, attentive and personalized service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Visited for brunch. My wife and I shared the roasted root player, croissant french toast, and breakfast burrito. Everything was good, not spectacular. I really liked the cinnamon whipped cream on the french toast.
This was our second time eating here, and we enjoyed it as much as the first! Restaurant is lively, wait staff is attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious. Steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and especially the brunch burgers have been excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are recommended.
This place is truly exceptional in every way. I’ve been here multiple times and each time I’m so impressed with the food, quality of service and warm ambiance.
Each dish tastes just as good as it looks and each cocktail is well balanced and adventurous in its own way.
Last time I was here, I got the pork cheeks and was blown away. The meat melts in your mouth and transports you to a different place, lol. The perfect hearty dish for cold, north eastern weather months.
Elegantly decorated, with warm amber lighting, this place makes you right at home. Definitely adding this spot to my food rotation.
