We had the pleasure of getting a feel for what The Oak on Pine has to offer at a private work dinner last night held there. Literally every bite was amazing! After a spread of charcuterie, specially selected cheeses, and the crowd favorite Cajun style shrimp cocktail, we sat down for a pre selected dinner. The first course included Caesar salad with freshly prepared anchovies with Parmesan flakes, along with a very nice beat salad. The vegetable course included roasted root vegetables and brussels sprouts, all prepared perfectly. Our protein course included family style salmon, marinated flat iron steak (each of which were excellent!), and in my opinion one of the best pieces of fried chicken I've had in a very long time. Although everyone was busting at the seams after dinner, somehow we all found room for desert, which consisted of your choice of apple crumble, key lime pie, or chocolate mousse. You could not choose incorrectly, as all the selections looked as good as they tasted - top notch! Throughout the night we were attended to by a caring and personal staff who obviously took great pride in what they do. If this private event is any indication of what it's like to eat at the restaurant, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable atmosphere!
Really good southern food. Everything we ordered was delicious and we even got free desserts and appetizers. BYOB
Love this restaurant. Everything I have tried on the menu is delicious. Definitely try the mac and cheese and if they have their deep fried brussels they are a must as well! BYOB makes it even better!
Cosy place. Friendly staff. Daily cut was perfectly cooked. They don’t serve alcohol. I believe they allow bringing your own brewery and keeping it to two glasses per person.
Overall, better than we expected. The only thing on the menu I was interested in was their burger...(add $2 for cheese), really? But it was good. Daughter found a hair in her soup. She ended with free Mac n cheese and she loved it. I would say it's worth a stop and check it out.
