    So I saw all of the great reviews on Google about Hooked JC so my expectations were high. Much to my surprise, they were exceeded. I had the blackened scallop platter and they were cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients, flavorful food, perfect portions and friendly staff. There's no doubt I'll be coming back.

    My wife and I visited last week and were very impressed. Though it's a bit out of the way, the food is delicious. We ordered the crack and cheese which was mind blowing. My wife said it was one of the best mac and cheese dishes she has had. The entree po boys were out of this world. One fried / one blackened, Hooked JC is now my favorite place for seafood in Jersey City.

    Went here my first time with my girlfriend after go-karts randomly. We loved the ambiance. Really felt like we were down at a seafront restaurant. Great food. Fish was cooked great and the staff was friendly

    This place is Amazing! Reminds me of my favorite fish shack in South Carolina. Rustic interior, delicious freshly caught fish, awesome side dishes. Great 70's soul music to accompany your meal. Definitely worth the trip from downtown.

    Man this place was such a surprise. We were NOT expecting the food to be this amazing or the atmosphere to be so rustic.
    The menu choices had something for everyone as well. Definitely can't wait to visit again.
