Ruth's Chris Steak House

The food was great. I got the Tbone and it surely did not disappoint. Not only was our waiter James awesome but every single person who worked there that came to wish happy birthday to the birthday girl in our group was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend.

Had a corporate event and booked Boardroom private room. Service was friendly, honest and unobtrusive. I got a great wine recommendation and meat was delicious. It was a great and memorable dining experience.

Great job on the interior. Great job on the hospitality of the hostess, servers and manager. Food was very good as well. We had our own room with music that was easily controllable. If anything, the table was too wide but way better than the alternative.

My fiancee and I went to Ruth's Chris in JC shortly after I proposed to her in the nearby J Owen Grundy Park. I called the restaurant before to let them know what I was planning to do, so that I could pre-order a bottle of champagne to have waiting for us at the table. This was about the end of the special treatment I was expecting.

To say the staff and General Manager, Mary, delivered a special evening would be a massive understatement. They made us feel so special and everyone seemed genuinely thrilled for us. They covered our table in rose petals, created a special menu with our names on it congratulating us on our engagement, got us a card signed by all the staff and gave us a special dessert at the end of the night.

all the whole throughout the night staff members came up and congratulated us and just generally made us feel special. Ruth Chris has gained a customer for life after what they did for us and we can't way to go back.

I just realized I have yet to mention the food and drink but this is Ruth's Chris we are talking about, of course it was all amazing from start to finish. Steaks cooked perfectly and food came out quick. All in all I wish I could give a rating higher than five stars. Thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcomed and special!

The ambiance was great. Dress is business casual. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I requested the lunch special and for $30, I had steak, shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes and a Cesar salad. I would highly recommend Ruth's Chris. Five thumbs up! Close to the literail and Path train in Jersey City.
