El Cocotero

My boyfriend and I stopped by here for lunch while we were apartment hunting in the area and it is wonderful. The owner waited on is and he is a truly wonderful, lovely man. The food is killer!
We found an apartment near there and we are so happy that we will be going back frequently.

Extremely good food, cooked to perfection from fresh. Don't go here unless you have some time to let the food cook, it's well worth it. Try any dish with plantains, I especially recommend the very affordable stuffed plantain. The atmosphere and service are wonderful.

I thought about docking a star because the prices are steep for the main entrees, but really, it's *worth* it. I'd prefer to go less frequently to this restaurant if that means the quality of the food and service remain excellent.

We really had an amazing time here. We stayed until they closed and they were very kind and friendly with us the whole time. They even put music to our taste and let us dance until pass midnight. The food was amazing, the service outstanding and the place fantastic! I wish I could come here more often!

Just like its sister restaurant in Manhattan, Cocotero offers a very extensive menu with a whole lot of food and beverage options. Very comfortable and spacious environment with lots of tables and a fantastic service. Prices could be more affordable for the location. Karaoke and music on Friday and Saturdays nights.

Wow! Just wow! This is the best Venezuelan restaurant on the east coast. The food is better than any Venezuelan restaurant I've tried, including Miami. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything we tried we enjoyed. Absolutely, an amazing dining experience.
