Gino's Pizzeria

Ginos makes living in the Heights special. The dining room has low lighting allowing for intimate conversations. The classic Italian pasta dishes all delight. The chicken orzo soup is a favorite. We’ve hosted many Little-League team banquets at Gino’s and their hospitality is always like family. On the classic New York-style pizzeria side, the regular slice doesn’t disappoint with its sturdy crust and delicious mozzarella. But try the Brooklyn or Grandma slice (or whole pie!) for a unique pizza experience.

Actually one of nicest bars around in the heights with great specials and a nice clean bar and great food. Get pizza from next door or anything from a full Italian place menu at a great price. Fantastic and wonderful and attentive staff.

My understanding is that this has been a staple in the heights for a long time but I just recently tried it. I've had their pizza, ravioli, chicken parm and linguine and clams and all have been outstanding. Very relaxed neighborhood feel, excellent service and great prices. All entrees come with a generous salad. As the heights starts to change, gems like this surely add to the attraction. I'll jeep going back.
