Freetown Road Project Resturaunt

The stewed chicken was delicious and so were the beef patties. The portions were pretty big so we had some delicious left overs for the next day. Our food was ready on time for pickup. Looks like they have a nice dining room too so we're looking forward to dining in once the Covid quarantine is over.

Our first order was takeout due to the current Covid situation. The woman who took our order over the phone and greeted us when we picked it up was so friendly. The food was great! We ordered the stewed chicken, curry chicken, beef patties, roti, and Mac and cheese. Also can’t forget the Sorrel drink ???? Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to go back for an actual sit down meal. Such a great addition to the neighborhood and glad to see they’re holding up with the current closures.

I’ve placed two large orders with them one to thank the staff at JCMC and one for a managed building appreciation lunch. All the food was a HUGE hit for both! So flavorful and arrived piping hot delivery. The oxtail, chicken and Curry’s were so fantastic!

My fiancé and I love this place the only thing she didn’t like was the amount of bones that were in the chicken however it had the right balance of flavor. The fried dumplings were a little dry however their veggie patties, plantains, stew chicken rice and peas and fish cake was excellent! I love this place and I’d definitely go back to this place and recommend it to anyone interested in Caribbean food.

Visited the restaurant for the first time and was blown away by the atmosphere and the special attention that was given to my wife and myself, but that was only the beginning, I ordered the oxtails and the red beans and rice. The flavors made my mouth dance. My wife ordered the Stewed chicken, fish cakes, she was very pleased with it all... Definitely a great place to eat Great Food... A top chef from Jersey City creating great food in a pleasant atmosphere. Well done, keep up the good work...
